Unite Scotland, commonly known as   Unite, is a British and Irish trade union, formed on 1 May 2007, by the merger of  Amicus and the   Transport and General Workers' Union  (often referred to as "the T&G"). In 2016, United Construction and Allied Trade Technicians  (UCATT) members voted to merge with Unite to create the largest construction union in the UK.
